Make your salad using all of the ingredients listed. Start with the lettuce, then add chicken, pears, and cashews.
To make the dressing:

Place the contents of the canned pears (pears and syrup) in a blender and purée until smooth.

In a small bowl or jar, combine citric acid and water and stir to combine. Add pear purée and remaining ingredients (oil, salt, chives, and garlic) into the bowl and whisk or shake to combine.

Pour desired amount over salad and enjoy!
